Olina remained lying still on Amons shoulder while his boss talked to him . She immediately felt a certain antipathy towards him. Even if she considered Amon as a good-for-nothing Idiot, it was not okay that he was scolded like this. It reminded her of her own school time . She had been harassed because of her origin by the teachers over and over again. She felt how Amons body tensed up, while the man mentioned his parents. This seemed to be a sore point. She already wanted to draw a deep breath as the boss swallowed Amons excuse when she noticed, that  a rough, even bigger hand shut around her and did not hold her, but threw her!.She was too shocked  to even make a sound. Her whole life rushed  before her eyes: The gentle red moonlight, the asylum in which she grew up, her friends, the hard work to earn her school fees, and Giru... But the death did not come to her, because she landed on an upholstered subsoil in which she sunk in. But, nevertheless, she could not breathe after the impact for some seconds. She did not seem to be injured, but, nevertheless, the panic overcame her. What else would happen to her in this strange world? She did not belong here! here she was not more than just a toy, Nothing! She opened the eyes and saw a big round opening above herself which was filled by Amons  gigantic face. He stretched his hand out to her and picked her up: "Hey everything okay with you?", he asked. However, she could not answer. She did not want to be here, not in this world and  not in his hand at all! In her panic she jumped up and from his hand, directly into the wastepaper basket again. Then she tried to get up and to climb the walls of the garbage can , but they were too steep. Frustrated she hammered and kicked against the plastic. "I wanna leave! I wanna leave!" she shouted.

The Tigo girl was out of her mind. She shouted and shouted and shouted over and over again that she wanted to leave. Amon became nervous. Though she was small, her voice was audible, and particularly by her shriek she was about  three times louder than normal. Amon looked at the clock. His colleagues would soon come and, moreover, he never knew where and when Hagitski could appear. If someone else than him  would discover the small one, he maybe could lose the whole money or ,more badly, the truth about his accident could come out. Then he would lose everything. "Please, be quiet, I know you want to go home. But if you are seen by somebody else, then they could do worse things with you than just throwing you around.", Amon tried to calm the small nervous wreck." Consider , others could sell you or enslave you to some scientists . If you really want to go home, try to calm down and stick with me." Again he tried to reach for her.

Olina stopped shouting. It made no sense anyhow, and Amon was right, she should not attract even more attention to herself... because if this meant that they would  treat her badly, it would be really better to be quiet. She was already nearly ashamed  for her outbreak. From her corner of the eye she could see how he reached for her again. "And what about you? Would you also sell me?", she asked without looking at him.

„No, I would not . I am really not a bad guy.", he said with a grin. "Am I or am I not?" , he thought. The Tigo-girl had,  after years of the monotony, brought movement to Amons dusty mind. Even before Amon was able to say more, he felt a female hand on his shoulder and a female head suddenly lay on his other shoulder . "Ava. what are you doing here?" he asked startled.

Ava came just through the glass door of the company and saw like her colleague and friend Amon knelt before the wastepaper basket beside the bench and apparently talked to himself. Curiously she went over to him, laid the hand on his left shoulder and her head on his right one. In the hand he held a rather filthy Tigo in dungarees. "Hey, since when do you talk with Tigos?", she asked amused. She had a closer look at the small thing and found out ,with some astonishment, that it seemed to move and had a strangely sad look. But  she could not say it exactly, because he tried to hide it . "Have you bought it for Sema? However, it is not very pretty...", she said.

Olina only looked sadly into space and had no more strength to react  to the Grodi  which had spotted her. She only tried to remain still.

"Yep, I purchased it for Sema", Amon tried to explain nervously "Well, I have found it on a small flea market on a bazaar. It's a prototype from district 19's Technology combine, You  know." He grinned at her "Somebody has smuggled it out of there . And when I saw it, I had to buy it. You know how  Sema is like." Amon was obviously nervous and had cold sweat on the forehead. But not the danger of being detected  made him nervously, but the conversation with Ava itself. He had to admit that he had a little crush on her. Above all this, she was still his direct superior. And all that made the situation far from easy. He stammered "Well Aya.... whereto goes our tour today, actually? Maybe district 19?" he asked almost quite whispering. He had to admit that  this time, not only the thought of selling the Tigo motivated him, he actually felt a sort of curiosity he hadn't felt for a long time.

Of course Ava noticed  how nervous Amon was. And she had already noticed  that he did not only became nervous today, but whenever she met him. She also knew of course what she could conclude from this. But she had to keep up her professionalism. Though Amon was a good guy,  his social status really left much to be desired. There were days when she cursed the system, but never loudly of course . She didn't want to get herself into trouble. So she got up, tightened and brought out her appointment calendar. "Hmmm, yes, we really have something in district 19, today. The research institute for history is on the schedule. Okay, than let's leave and puff the dust from the history books.", she joked.

Olina slowly relaxed in his hand. This time he really had acted a little better. But she noticed the nervousness in his voice and that his hands became very warm. She knew these symptoms only too well. And if their races were similar only a little bit, it was almost sure  that Amon was in love. She felt a small sting in her heart..."Giru..."

"Wonderful... this isWonderful. By chance, I am just in the mood  to clean you there, er... i mean  to clean there. You must know my father was  district-master there. If he was still here , I would also have become a district-master. Yes, then I would have become a big important man here" Amon stammered. "Why am I talking such crap?"he thought , but when he looked Ava in the eyes again, he simply had to go on "Yes, earlier I was supposed to attend the high school. But here, well, this is also okay. At least, I am able to come to work together with a pretty colleague. ". "I  really must have lost my  mind ." he thought again and again. He had to try to get out of  this situation which had turned completely against him, but he could think of nothing. But Aya  looked so damn pretty in these work clothes. Then a thought shot through him. "Well... Aya, now I must  change, I still didn't put on  my whole working cloth." he explained  briefly and quickly made his way to the changing rooms.

Aya was troubled with not blushing about his comments. Of course she liked compliments and if Amon looked not exactly as run down as he did today, he was also quite good-looking. She had already heard of Amons father from the colleague's gossip . It was really a disgrace that this man had let down his family  and had simply disappeared. She acted as if she had not noted his stammering at all, because she had to keep a certain distance. "Okay, but hurry up, I 'll prepare the car!", she shouted after him  and went outward.

Olina was a little tired of playing the lifeless doll and was quite happy as Amon got away from this other Grodi.

Amon stepped into the changing room and saw his locker on the right hand side. Suddenly he remembered Olina, who was still dangling lifelessly in his Hand. "Hey, you can move again. Nobody is here.", he said and before she could answer he put her down on the bench which stood in the middle of the room.
Then he opened his locker, got out his working-cloth and started to change. His overall smelled, like everything in here, like it was drenched in chemicals. At least he was not as content with this place, as he had said to Ava. But what he said about district 19 was true. Indeed he was a little curious. And maybe he could find some information about the Tigo, especially her value. And maybe he could even find someone whom he could sell her.
He removed his Jacket and shirt and turned to Olina: "So, what do you think about Ava?", he asked her with a  mischievous grin which let him look like a little boy.

Olina tried very hard not to look at him, as he removed his shirt. Tigo had a very strong sense of shame and to see an other person even half-naked was nearly unbearable. She turned around and focused on the wall. "I-I think she is okay... maybe. I haven't seen or heard much of her, yet. Thanks to the Red Moon that she didn't notice anything... It is really hard to act dead..." She thought about asking him about his feelings for this woman. But she decided that it would be a too personal question, especially  in this particular situation... she nearly exploded from shame.

"Hmmm... well. You are doing quite well. Fortunately this society is quite sick... So it is not really supicious when a guy like me carries a Tigo around on his shoulder.", he said smiling. This situation  was somehow funny and bizarre for him. He had calmed down now and the headache which probably came from the Posta were gone. And he could work together with Ava! Even if he did not jump around in happiness, he was , as far his whole situation allowed it, in a good mood.
He removed his Pants and put on his working- overall. Then he picked the  Tigo girl up again and sat her down on his shoulder, exactly where a big stinking blot of unknown origin was. "Okay, you can choose. Either you stay up there on my shoulder or I'll put you into one of my breast-pockets."

"Eeww", she moaned and sniffed  on the blot involuntary. "What is THIS?" The stench was so gross that her toe nails nearly curled up. "I think I'd prefer the pocket. But please without screws in it...", she said while she held her nose and tried to slowly slide away from the blot.
This unwanted trip to the other side of the wall was getting awkward more and more.
And this giant idiot obviously never spent a thought about how he could make it even a little more bearable for her. Of course, her live had never been a bed of roses before, but all this nearly drove her to the edge.

"Hey, hey, calm down. That's why I asked you. And no, there are no screws in the pocket, and no, no hankies also. I also could put you into my locker, so stop moaning. I told you that I would bring you back home, but I never promised to be your entertainer. And shut up now. We will go to district 19 now. Maybe we can find some answers to your strange questions." he griped back at her and put her head first into his breast pocket, so that her legs till stood out a little. Snickering he left the changing room only to see Ava standing in front of him.
"Did she notice something?", he asked himself. "Hey, sorry that it took so long... sometimes I'm a little slow, you know, hahaha.", he stammered. "Okay, let's go now. I don't want to have trouble with Hagitski."

Ava could have sworn that she heard him talking with someone. But there was no one else in the changing room. She sighed a little. Maybe he had, like  most of the young people, drunk to much Posta. It really was a shame...
"Oh well, No wonder that he is mad at you. You haven't showed up for two day without saying anything. You really should be more reliable... then he is a rather nice boss." she scolded him while they were walking to the car. She opened the door on the driver's side and waited for him to get on.

Olina was not very surprised about his snippy reaction and not about how rudely he treated her again. Maybe soon will be the time to show him her real powers to give him a piece of her mind. But now she heard the voice of the other Grodi again an tried to slide down into the pocket completely without attracting to much attention. Then she remained still in a rather uncomfortable position , which was not really enjoyable but much better than holding on fer her life the whole time. As soon as they would be in this district, he would be too occupied with his work to watch over her all the time. This would be her chance.

"Hagitski and a nice person? Are you kidding me, Ava? I've never seen him acting nice towards me, not even on my fist day.",he responded. He didn't like his boss at all. Although he was told in school, to always act respectful towards superior persons.
"Oh, could I drive today? Please?", he said with a voice which had lost all the nervousness from before. But then something in his breast pocket twitched him, and he knew exactly what it was. "Not now." he whispered and hoped it would make the little hellion stop whatever she was doing. It made his conversation with Ava not very easy.

Aya looked at him and shook her head. "I don't think that you should drive today. You are not looking very fit today..." suddenly she saw something moving in his Pocket, a very short movement and Amon seemed to whisper something, but she couldn't understand it. "What's that in your pocket?", she asked a little curious and sat down in front of the wheel.

Amon opened the front seat passenger's door and let himself fall into the old chair, thus the old rusty springs  squeaked loudly.
He sighed a little annoyed, closed the door and looked over to Ava. "Yes, yes, maybe I've  'enjoyed' my free time a little too much . And in my pocket, this is nothing …. just the Tigo I bought for my little sister. The thing must be one of the latest inventions from the technology combine. Look!" answered Amon to  and reached in his breast pocket. Quite softly he took out Olina and sent her a briefly pleading look. "Here! Almost as if it would real. hahaha." he laughed ." It even can speak!" Amon pretended to push a button on the back of the small Tigo. Seconds passed by, but nothing happened."Oh, such a pity. It must be broken. Well, stuff it." he said to Aya, looked shortly behind him to make sure that the foamed plastic mats from last week still lay in the back  and threw Olina carelessly over the shoulder. "Okay, shall we go now?"

Of course Olina recognized his pleading looks, but didn't want to do anything but playing dead. She knew he expected her to say something after he pushed her back. But firstly, she was not in the mood to act much more like a toy and secondly she was to nervous to make up any sentence.
And then he really threw her! Luckily she landed on something soft, but now she was really on the edge! She tightened her fists and concentrated enough magic in her hands to heat up the surrounding air. Just as she wanted to trow the heat balls in direction of his head, as a sudden movement of the car sidetracked her. The concentration was gone an the heat ball vanished with a silent *puff *. Maybe it was better this way... this attack had made her being spotted and she never could have made it out of this vehicle before these giants catched her. She let herself fall back again and remained still. But she would wait patiently for an other chance to take revenge.

Ava laughed slightly. "Seems as if the trader of the bazaar fooled you a little. But this thing really looks quite authentic... But off we go now." ,she said, started the engine and drove off. The gray houses rushed away ans the nearer the came to the technical district, the friendlier looked the surroundings. The houses were very modern here, they had glass-facades which glittered in the sunlight. Aya liked it here. "It is really good to work here today. The air is much better.", she stated and opened the window a little.

"Yes, you are right. But this area makes me... thinking. You know, me and my familiy lived here when my father was still there. I went to school here for two years and had many friends. But they all left me behind when we had to move." Amon opened his window completely and laid his head on the rubber frame. "You know Ava... when you are at the very bottom of society, you will at least know who your real friends are, who like you, not because of your status but because of your personality. Sometimes that's worth a lot." suddenly Amon thought about Olina. "I ask myself if she has any friends, wether her life is as hard as mine as a member of the working class." he turned his head a little and looked at the tiny Tigo which lay there completely still, although Avas style of driving left much to desire. He nearly felt pity for her. "Mhm. I hope her new owners won't treat her so bad. At least, we have some things in common..."
Amon turned his head again. It should at least take ten minutes til the reached her destination. "Hey, I'll take a little nap til we're there, okay?" He closed his eyes and drifted into a slumber.

Ava thought about his words. She had been a worker her whole life. She never experienced what it meant to be part of a higher class. She felt a little envious towards Amon. At least he had been able to live here for a while... but this was over now. And what he said about friends may be true. These fags just lived to well to really care much about real friendship. She said nothing and let him take his nap.
